For customers who would like to receive compensation (cost covering)

If the flight you have reserved was delayed or canceled due to reasons attributable to Solaseed Air, such as an equipment failure, we will cover the cost within the scope determined by our company.
If you would like to receive compensation (cost covering), please proceed from "Application for compensation".

Receipts are required for compensation of accommodation expenses, train fares with express tickets, taxi fares, and limousine bus fares.
Please make sure to prepare receipts as we cannot make compensation without them.

Refunds requested at your own convenience, not due to reasons such as an equipment failure, are not available on this page.
Please follow the refund procedure on the Manage Reservations.

Cases of compensation (cost covering)

  • - If the flight was transferred to other airline's flight or a regular ground public transportation due to the delays, cancellations, or temporary landings caused by reasons attributable to Solaseed Air.
  • - If transportation and/or accommodation expenses were incurred due to transfer.
  • - If you were directed to this page by Solaseed Air's airport staff.
  • *The deadline to apply for compensation is within 30 days from the departure date of your reserved flight (or the flight you boarded). If the application deadline has passed, you will not be able to apply for compensation.

Details of compensation (amount and conditions)

Upper limit of compensation

The upper limit of the total amount of "accommodation and ground transportation expenses" that Solaseed Air can pay is 15,000 yen.

The upper limit of the total amount of 'accommodation and ground transportation expenses' that Solaseed Air can pay is 15,000 yen.

*"The accommodation and ground transportation expenses" mean the fees for using a regular ground public transportation to the departure airport or from the destination airport, and accompanying accommodation expenses.

Reimbursement of accommodation and ground transportation expenses

If you were unable to use a regular ground public transportation from the destination airport to your destination as a result of transfer to a later flight than the originally reserved flight

If you were unable to use a regular ground public transportation from the destination airport to your destination as a result of transfer to a later flight than the originally reserved flight, we will pay the transportation expenses to the destination (up to 15,000 yen).

If you needed to stay overnight due to a change or transfer of your reservation to the next day or later

We will pay the accommodation expenses for boarding the next day's alternative flight and the transportation expenses between the airport and your accommodation in case a regular ground public transportation was not available (up to 15,000 yen in total).

If you were unable to use a regular ground public transportation from the destination airport to your destination due to the late arrival of your flight

If you were unable to use a regular ground public transportation due to a delay of your flight, such as arriving at the destination airport at midnight, we will pay the transportation expenses to your destination (up to 15,000 yen).
Reimbursement of flight ticket price (due to reasons such as transfer to other airline's flight)

If you have made a reservation on the Solaseed Air website, through the Reservation and Information Center, or at airport counters

- If your reserved flight was canceled and the cost of transferring to other airline or a regular ground public transportation was higher than the ticket price of the reserved flight.

Please complete the refund procedure on the Manage Reservations, and apply for a compensation for the difference between the amount required for transfer and the flight ticket price.

E.g., if you have purchased a flight ticket at "25,000 yen" from Solaseed Air, and then it cost "35,000 yen" to transfer to other airline or a regular ground public transportation:
Refund Solaseed Air's flight ticket and apply for compensation (cost covering) for "10,000 yen"

- The cost of transferring to other airliner or a regular ground public transportation is higher than the ticket price of the reserved flight, we will refund and pay the difference.

- If your reserved flight was canceled and the cost of transferring to other airline or a ground public transportation was lower than the ticket price of the reserved flight.

We will compensate you by refunding your reserved flight. Please complete the refund procedure on the Manage Reservations.

E.g., if you have purchased a flight ticket at "25,000 yen" from Solaseed Air, and then it cost "15,000 yen" to transfer to other airline or a regular ground public transportation:

The cost of transferring to other airline or a ground public transportation is lower than the ticket price of the reserved flight, you will get refunds.

If you have reserved or purchased a ticket through a travel agency or on a flight ticket website other than the Solaseed Air website

Please apply for compensation (cost covering) without refunding.
