Involuntary Changes and Refunds

Reservation changes or refunds are offered for flight delays and cancellations which are caused by bad weather, aircraft malfunctions, etc.

  • * With regards to the change or refund of your return flight due to the cancellation of your outbound flight, please contact the Reservation and Information Center if there is a discrepancy in your reservation information.

Reservation Changes

The term “reservation change” is used here to mean changing a reservation to an alternate flight on the same sector. (Handling fees will not apply.)

1. Reservations for alternate flights can be made online, through the Reservation and Information Center, and at airport counters.

* Reservation changes can also be made at self-service check-in machines at the airport.

  • The reservation for the return flight can be changed in the same way if the change is caused by a delay or cancellation of the outbound flight. In such cases, please complete reservation change procedures for both your outbound and return flights at the same time.
  • With regards to the change or refund of your return flight due to a delay or cancellation of your outbound flight, procedures cannot be completed online if there is a discrepancy in your reservation information. Contact the Solaseed Air Reservation and Information Center.
  • Depending on the type of ticket, payment method, or point of purchase, reservation changes may not be accepted.
  • After changing a reservation, a new 2D barcode must be collected.
  • Please refer to the Route Change section when changing to a different sector than the original reservation.

Changeable Fares

It is also possible to change to an open ticket that can be used on a later date.
You can request to change to an open ticket at an airport counter or by contacting the Solaseed Air Reservation and Information Center.

If the validity period of the ticket is longer, the ticket can be used until its expiration date.

Non-changeable Fares

Only 1 reservation change will be accepted.
If a delay or cancellation occurs to the new flight, another reservation change will be accepted.

If a Reservation Change Results in a Fare Difference

If the new fare is higher than the originally purchased fare, you will not be asked to pay the difference.

If the new fare is lower than the originally purchase fare, the difference will be refunded.

For non-changeable fares, adjustments will not be made regardless of the fare difference.

2. On the departure date, customers who have selected their seats in advance can use SKiP Service.

Customers who have not selected their seats will need to complete check-in procedures at self-service check-in machine.

Route Change

The term “route change” is used here to mean changing to a flight sector that differs from what was originally purchased.
Request refund for the purchased ticket (no handling fee) → Purchase a new ticket for the new sector.

Customers will be responsible for any fare differences between the originally purchased ticket and the new ticket.

If the change was caused by an aircraft malfunction or other reason attributable to Solaseed Air, any fare differences between the originally purchased ticket and the new ticket will be borne by Solaseed Air.

Aircraft Malfunctions or Other Reasons Attributable to Solaseed Air

The cost of transportation, accommodation, etc., will also be borne by Solaseed Air in accordance with the scope established by the company.
If the change was caused by an aircraft malfunction or other reason attributable to Solaseed Air, customers will be able to change to flights operated by other airlines.

Refunds

  • * There are no refund handling fees.

Refund Period

  • Changeable Fares:
    After a ticket has been purchased, a refund is possible until 30 days after the ticket expiration date.
  • Non-changeable Fares:
    After a ticket has been purchased, a refund is possible until 30 days after the scheduled departure date of the reserved flight.

* Please make sure to complete procedures within the relevant refund period. No refunds will be given after the refund period has passed.

  • *1 Refund procedures can be completed online for credit card payments only.
  • *2 Refund procedures can be completed at self-service check-in machines for credit card payments only.

Refund Amount

Before Departure: The total paid amount (fare + service fees) will be refunded.
After Departure: The total paid amount, minus the fares for used sectors, will be refunded.
(For refunds involving group tours and package tours, please inquire with the point of purchase.)
