These new procedures will apply to all flights departing on or after May 19, 2026.

Reservations and Purchases

1. Handling of tickets

  • Tickets for flights departing on or before May 18, 2026, cannot be changed to flights departing on or after May 19, 2026.
  • We will no longer be handling open tickets. - When making a reservation, please specify the boarding date and flight.
    Passengers with open tickets must board by May 18, 2026.
  • The tickets must be used in sequence set out in your itinerary.
    Example: If your ticket includes reservations for Segment 1 from Tokyo (Haneda) to Miyazaki and for Segment 2 from Miyazaki to Okinawa (Naha), you cannot use the ticket for Segment 2 before using it for Segment 1.

2. Age of Children

  • The age ranges for infants and children will be updated as listed below.
  • Infants (ages 0-1) also require their own ticket.Please reserve and issue tickets for infants at the same time as the accompanying adult(s) (12 years or older).

  • Infants can travel on the lap of an accompanying adult for free.

3. Reservation Confirmation

  • Confirmation numbers will no longer be necessary.
    When confirming your reservation, please have your six-digit alphanumeric reservation number and your thirteen-digit numeric ticket number ready. You can find these numbers on your e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt.

4. Reservation Notes

  • Please enter the passenger's name using either the Hepburn romanization system or the alphabet.
  • Please enter your date of birth when making a reservation.

Check-in Procedures and Standby

Updates will be made to the check-in procedures and other airport services and processes.
Additional information will be provided in due course.

Online check-in

The location for online check-in will change to the online check-in page on the website of the operating carrier.
Please complete online check-in via "Check-in," or through the URL provided in the "Online Check-in Information" e-mail sent by Solaseed Air.
Customers who purchased e-tickets through ANA (those with a 4-digit flight number) are also required to complete online check-in on the Solaseed Air website. Online check-in via the ANA website or ANA app is not available.
Please note that customers who purchased e-tickets through ANA are also subject to Solaseed Air's terms and conditions for services.
In addition, notifications regarding flight status will be sent by e-mail from Solaseed Air.

Check-in Cancellation

If you are unable to board your reserved flight after completing check-in and wish to request a refund, you must cancel your check-in and complete the refund procedure at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
If the refund has not been completed by the departure time, a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the e-ticket (excluding taxes) will be charged. However, the fee may vary depending on the fare type.

Same-Day Flight Changes at the Airport

For fares that allow reservation changes, if you change to a flight on the same segment with available seats at the departure airport on the day of travel, a fare difference may apply depending on seat availability.
(Reservations can also be changed on the Solaseed Air website.)

Airport Standby

If your preferred flight is full, standby requests are accepted from 12:00 a.m. on the day of boarding until 20 minutes prior to the departure time of your desired flight.
If a seat becomes available, you will be notified by e-mail and via digital signage near the boarding gate.
Please obtain the mobile boarding pass for the new flight via the URL provided in the "Airport Standby Result Notification" e-mail sent by Solaseed Air, and proceed to board.
Please note that once a seat is secured, your original reservation will be automatically canceled.
If a seat is not secured, you will need to reapply if you wish to continue on standby. Please review the changes to the airport standby service.

  • For customers who purchased e-tickets through ANA (those with a 4-digit flight number)
    • You may receive operational information e-mails for the flight you are on standby for, even before a seat has been secured.
    • You may also continue to receive operational information e-mails for your originally reserved flight after being assigned a standby seat.
  •     Please carefully check the flight number in each e-mail to avoid any confusion.

Changes to Airport Standby Service

Preconditions
  • When applying for standby, you must complete check-in for your reserved flight on the same day.
  • Customers who purchased e-tickets through ANA (those with a 4-digit flight number) cannot apply for standby via the Solaseed Air website. As staff assistance is required, please contact an airport staff member (at Haneda Airport, please contact a Solaseed Air staff member).
Conditions for Application Standby applications are only accepted if all of the following conditions are met:
  • Only one flight can be requested at a time (multiple flights cannot be requested simultaneously).
  • The requested flight must be on the same departure date and depart from the same airport and terminal as your reserved flight (changes to departure or arrival airports are not permitted).
  • The same conditions apply in cases of cancellations or delays due to adverse weather or other factors.
After Application After completing your standby application, a "standby number" will not be issued.
You can check your standby status on the online check-in screen for your reserved flight.
If a Seat Becomes Available If a seat is secured through standby, your original reservation will be automatically canceled.
  • If you wish to board your originally reserved flight, you must cancel your standby request at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time of the standby flight. Please note that check-in for the new flight will be completed automatically, so you do not need to complete standby check-in yourself.
If a Seat Does Not Become Available If you wish to continue standby for another flight, you must submit a new standby application.
Customers who purchased e-tickets through ANA (those with a 4-digit flight number) cannot apply for standby via the Solaseed Air website. As staff assistance is required, please contact a gate agent (at Haneda Airport, please contact a Solaseed Air staff member).

Cases Where Standby Is Not Available

Customers who fall under the following cases may not be eligible for standby or may be subject to certain restrictions:

Issuance of Receipts at Self-service Check-in Machine

Receipts can no longer be issued at self-service check-in machines.
They can be issued via the "Receipts and Certificates" page.

Changes to Self-service Baggage Drop Machines (ANA Baggage Drop) and Baggage Tag Issuing Machines (ANA Baggage Tag Kiosk)

If connecting itineraries are reserved separately and you wish to check baggage through to your final destination, baggage will be accepted at the airport counter.
(It is not possible to add itineraries at self-service baggage drop machines or baggage tag issuing machines.)

Service Restrictions During System Migration Period

During the system migration period from May 19, 2026 to around the end of June 2026 (planned), certain service restrictions will apply.

Checked Baggage

  • The checked baggage size and weight limits will be updated as outlined below.
    Additionally, new rules regarding the number of free checked bags will be introduced.

Applicable Conditions of Carriage

The new "Conditions of Carriage for Domestic Passengers and Baggage" will apply to travel commencing on or after May 19, 2026.
