Changes and Refund Rules
Here's an overview of our rules regarding changes and refunds.
If your reservation includes two or more flight segments under the same reservation, such as a round trip or a connecting itinerary using an intermediate point, any change or refund request must be processed for all flights in that reservation, even if you wish to change or refund only one segment. (It is not possible to process only the selected segment.)
Changes and refunds are handled in accordance with the fare rules and conditions applicable to your ticket.
If a fare is non-changeable, a prescribed cancellation fee will apply.
1.Changes
Any fare difference between the original and new reservation will be charged.
If you have a round-trip or connecting itinerary using an intermediate point, even when changing only one segment, the entire reservation record, including the flights that remain unchanged, will be recalculated. If it is not possible to rebook all segments through to the final destination, the fare cannot be recalculated and the reservation cannot be changed.
Example
You purchased a round-trip Standard fare on June 1 for the outbound flight on July 1 (SNA51, Haneda to Miyazaki) and the return flight on October 3 (SNA60, Miyazaki to Haneda). If you change both flights on June 30, the fare valid on the date of change, June 30, will apply.
Applicable fare
The fare valid on the date of change will apply to the entire itinerary. The respective reservation class and seasonality will apply to each travel date for the outbound and return flights.
Any fare difference between the original and new reservation will be charged.
If you have a round-trip or connecting itinerary using an intermediate point, even when changing only one segment, the entire reservation record, including the flights that remain unchanged, will be recalculated.
Example

Applicable fare
The fare valid on the date of purchase will apply to the segment being changed. The respective reservation class and seasonality will apply to each travel date for the outbound and return flights.
2.Refund
A cancellation fee, as specified for each fare type, will be charged when canceling an e-ticket.
Please note that partial refunds for individual segments are not permitted. After refunding the entire reservation record, please purchase the required segment as a new reservation.
Example
For example, even if you wish to refund only the outbound flight on June 30, you must first refund both the outbound and return flights together, and then purchase the return flight again as a new reservation.
Applicable cancellation fee
The number of days between the outbound departure date and the refund processing date will be applied, and the fee will be calculated based on the total fare amount for the entire reservation record.
The refund amount will be calculated by deducting the applicable fee, charged on the total fare for the entire reservation record including used segments, from the difference between the total fare for the entire reservation record including used segments and the fare applicable to the used segment.
Depending on the calculation, there may be no refundable amount.
Example
You purchased a round-trip Standard fare on June 15 for the outbound flight on July 1 (SNA51 Haneda to Miyazaki) and the return flight on October 3 (SNA60 Miyazaki to Haneda).
If you refund the return flight on July 3, the outbound flight will be regarded as having been used at the applicable one-way fare.
Applicable cancellation fee
The cancellation fee for partially used tickets will be charged based on the total fare for the entire reservation record.
Refunds cannot be processed if the used segment does not constitute a valid itinerary.
Example
For passengers holding a round-trip e-ticket with a connecting return flight using an intermediate point, if the outbound segment and the first segment of the return flight have already been used, a refund of the final segment cannot be processed.
If you have any questions regarding changes or refunds, please contact Solaseed Air Reservation and Information Center.
