Attendant

If our staff members judge that the passenger is unable to properly understand or respond to the safety notice announced by them, we may ask an attendant to board with the passenger.
Ground staff and cabin crew cannot provide meal assistance, toilet assistance, or medical services at the airport or during flight.

Cautions

- The attendant should be at age 12 years or over.
- Attendants are not allowed to accompany children under the age of 2.
- If an attendant accompanies children under the age of 2, we ask for another attendant to accompany the passenger.

Medical Certificate

Passengers under the following circumstances are asked to prepare the Medical Certificate and present it at the time of reservation.
  • Those who need oxygen inhalation, use of medical devices (medical oxygen cylinder, portable oxygen concentrator [POC], ventilator), and medical practice on the plane
  • Patients with severe injuries and diseases
  • Those who fall under the category of "Other symptoms" in the reference materials on the medical certificate.
  • In addition to the above, those whose injuries or diseases under treatment, or recent surgeries are likely to affect their bodies when they travel by air

The Medical Certificate needs to be prepared within 14 days before the boarding date (the "14 days" shall include the boarding date). Please note that the conditions differ for pregnant women within 28 days of expected delivery date.

*The medical certificate is valid if the boarding date is within the validity period written there, even though it is not prepared within 14 days before the boarding date.
*In the case of return route, too, of the round trip, the medical certificate that states "appropriate" for the question of "appropriateness of boarding" is valid, even though the certificate is not prepared within 14 days before the boarding date of the return route.
*However, those with heart, respiratory, or cranial nerve diseases or other conditions that may cause a sudden change in physical condition need to prepare and submit a new Medical Certificate if their medical/physical conditions change after preparation of the certificate or during the trip.
Pregnant women within 28 days of expected delivery date

The Medical Certificate should be prepared within 7 days before the boarding date (the "7 days" shall include the boarding date).

*In the case of return course, too, of the round trip, the medical certificate that states "appropriate" for the question of "appropriateness of boarding" is valid, even though the certificate is not prepared within 7 days before the boarding date of the return route.
Other symptoms
  • - Patients with severe heart disease, severe heart failure, cyanotic heart disease (usually boarding is inappropriate within 6 weeks of the onset)
  • - Unstable angina, acute cardiac infarction (usually boarding is inappropriate within 2 weeks of the onset)
  • - Patients with severe respiratory diseases, severe respiration failure, severe chronic obstructive lung disease, recently developed pneumothorax patients whose lungs are not fully dilated
  • - Those who develop hemoptysis repeatedly
  • - Patients of acute-phase stroke (usually boarding is inappropriate within 4 weeks of the onset)
  • - Patients with head disease with increased intracranial pressure
  • - Patients with severe anemia
  • - Patients with hematemesis, melena, bowel obstruction
  • - Patients with severe otitis media
  • - Those with wounds that have not fully healed (due to head, chest, and abdominal surgery, etc.) and those who have just given birth
  • - Patients with unstable symptoms of alcohol or other intoxications
  • - Those with residual air or other gases in the body after surgery, such as ophthalmic surgery
  • - Pregnant women whose expected delivery date is within 28 days
    *For boarding, the Medical Certificate prepared within 7 days before the boarding date (the "7 days" shall include the boarding date) is required as a doctor's certificate.
    *In the case of boarding within 14 days before the expected delivery date (the "14 days" shall include the delivery date), an obstetrician needs to accompany the passenger.
  • - Newborns within 7 days of birth

Seat Allocation for Customers with Disabilities

At Solaseed Air, we are committed to meeting the seating needs of customers with disabilities.
If any of the following applies to you, please contact us before your flight.

  • Customers with leg impairments who are unable to maneuver over fixed armrests and therefore require an aisle seat with a movable armrest
    (Example) Customers who have difficulty moving from the on-board wheelchair to their seat
  • Customers who require a seat with extra legroom
    (Example) Customers who require extra legroom as they are unable to bend their legs due to illness or injury, etc.
  • Customers with intellectual disability
  • Customers using upper body holding aid equipments (assist seat, support belt and other aids)
  • Customers who require non-routine medical assistance when boarding the aircraft
    (Example) Customers using a medical oxygen cylinder, a portable oxygen concentrator (POC), an artificial respirator, an incubator, or other designated medical devices on board
  • Customers who must be accompanied by a caregiver in the adjacent seat due to disabilities, and passengers providing assistance in the adjacent seat
  • Customers accompanied by a guide dog, hearing dog, mobility assistance dog or other service dogs

In-flight Cabin Environment

The cabin environment is different from that on the ground.
AEDs (automated external defibrillators) are carried on board our aircraft.

Depending on the location and conditions, the cabin may feel cool.
Please note that blankets and cushions are not available as part of the standard in-flight service, so we kindly ask that you bring your own jacket or other warm clothing as needed.
However, for customers who may have difficulty maintaining a seated position due to illness, injury, or disability, blankets and cushions are available free of charge upon advance request.
