Baggage check-in
Check in the baggage at the self-service baggage drop machine (ANA BAGGAGE DROP) at Haneda Airport, Fukuoka Airport, Naha Airport, or ANA baggage counter.
- Please note that you cannot check in your baggage at the Solaseed Air counter.

Self-service baggage drop machine (ANA BAGGAGE DROP)
Available for the customers who completed the check-in procedures.
For the location of the self-service baggage drop machines (ANA BAGGAGE DROP), please check the guide signs at Haneda Airport, Fukuoka Airport, and Naha Airport.
- At the self-service baggage drop machine (ANA BAGGAGE DROP), you can check in your baggage within the size of 80 cm x 75 cm x 45 cm. If you have the baggage exceeding the above size, fragile items, items with special shape, or items listed below, check in the baggage at the ANA baggage counter.
Examples: Golf bag, ski/snowboard, surfboard, skateboard, pet, baby stroller, umbrella (excluding the folding umbrella stored in the hand baggage), tripod stand, heavy hand baggage which exceeds the free hand baggage allowance
How to use self-service baggage drop machine (ANA BAGGAGE DROP)

Baggage tag issuing machine (ANA BAGGAGE TAG KIOSK)
Please issue a baggage tag by yourself after completion of the check-in procedures.
You can check in the baggage at the designated place after issuing the tag.
For the location of the baggage tag issuing machine (ANA BAGGAGE TAG KIOSK), check the guide signs at Chubu Centrair International Airport and Ishigaki Airport.
- Please refrain from discarding issued tags or changing to carry-on baggage without informing the staff.
- For the articles represented in the examples below, baggage tags cannot be issued with the baggage tag issuing machine (ANA BAGGAGE TAG KIOSK), so please complete the check-in procedure at the ANA baggage counter.
Examples: skis/snowboards, surfboards, pets, heavy baggage which exceeds the free hand baggage allowance
- There is no self-service baggage drop machine (ANA BAGGAGE DROP) or baggage tag issuing machine (ANA BAGGAGE TAG KIOSK) at airports other than those mentioned above. Please check in your baggage at ANA baggage counter in such a case.

Long baggage items
Skis, surfboards, golf bags, fishing equipment, diving equipment, etc. can be checked in in the same way as regular baggage. However, in some cases, it may not be possible to check in such baggage due to space limitations onboard. If the total linear dimensions of your baggage exceed 203 cm, please contact the Reservation and Information Center beforehand.
Guideline for the maximum length of the baggage that can be checked in: 320 cm
- Even if the baggage is within the above guidelines, we may not be able to accept it depending on the status of other baggage loading.
- If the baggage cannot be checked in, you may be asked to arrange a courier service, etc. by yourself.
Claiming checked baggage
When collecting your baggage at the destination, please check the number on the baggage claim tag and baggage tag by yourself before collecting it. There are many similar shapes of baggage. So, be careful for mix-up. The baggage claim tags will be collected at the arrival exit.

However, it may not always be possible to check in a piece of baggage with total linear dimensions (length, width, height) exceeding 203 cm or a weight exceeding 32 kg, or baggage with a total weight exceeding 100 kg.

Please note that we cannot accept baggage for storage if it meets any of the following criteria. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
- Total dimensions (length, width, height) exceed 292 cm
- Individual piece weight exceeds 45 kg
- For musical instruments, we offer free storage for items with total dimensions (length, width, height) up to 203 cm.

Bulky Baggage
Baggage Which Cannot be Checked In
Baggage with total linear dimensions (length, width and height) exceeding 292 cm (17.5 in.) and pieces of luggage that weigh more than 45 kg (99 lbs.) cannot be accepted as checked baggage.

Baggage Requiring Inquiry in Advance
It may not always be possible to check in a piece of baggage with total linear dimensions (length, width, height) exceeding 203 cm or a weight exceeding 32 kg, or baggage with a total weight exceeding 100 kg.
Please check the size and weight, then inquire with Solaseed Air Reservation and Information Center in advance.

Excess Baggage Charges
Baggage which exceeds 23 kg but is within 100 kg will be accepted for check-in by paying the excess baggage charge (Excess baggage charges will be charged for each flight).
