If you are pregnant or traveling with children and would like us to help you with your flight, notify us when making your reservation.

When Making a ReservationOPEN

If you board within 28 days of the expected delivery date (including the delivery date), the following conditions apply:

Conditions for passengers who are pregnant

What is necessary for boarding
  • - Passengers traveling within 28 to 8 days prior to their expected delivery date including the delivery date: Medical certificate
  • - Passengers traveling within 7 days prior to their expected delivery date including the delivery date: Medical certificate and doctor accompaniment

  • *Passengers traveling within 28 to 8 days prior to their expected delivery date including the delivery date: Medical certificate is required.
  • *Passengers traveling within 7 days prior to their expected delivery date including the delivery date: Medical certificate and doctor accompaniment are required.
  • *The Medical Certificate must be issued within 7 days including the boarding date and state by a doctor that "there are no major health concerns with travel by air".
  • *If you board within 28 days of the expected delivery date, you may accompany a maximum of 1 infant. A ticket must be purchased for the infant, who needs to occupy a seat on board.
  • *If your child is under 2 years of age, please use a child seat.
  • *Please bring your own child seat if necessary.

Please note that you may be denied boarding if it is predicted that we will be unable to reach the destination due to weather or other reasons, or if it is predicted that your health may be adversely affected during the flight.

For safety reasons, you are not allowed to sit in an exit row seat.

Boarding and In FlightOPEN

We will also assist you safely with boarding and getting to your seat. You may use our service with peace of mind.

Priority gate service

Passengers who require assistance can board the plane first as soon as the plane has been prepared to allow passengers to board.
Please inform the boarding gate staff as soon as possible if you would like to use this service.

In-flight services

Cabin crew will also assist you on board at your request. You may use our service with peace of mind.

Upon ArrivalOPEN

Upon request, our staff will escort you to the arrival lobby or to the person meeting you. Please feel free to let us know if you have request.
If you require assistance, you may have to wait a short while to be served.

When Making a ReservationOPEN

Conditions for passengers flying with children under age of 3

  • ・Make sure that children under the age of 3 are accompanied by passengers who are at least 12 years of age.
  • ・Each adult passenger can travel with up to 2 children under 3 years old. However, please purchase an airline ticket for at least 1 of the children to let the child sit alone in a child seat*1.
    *1 Please bring your own child seat if required. For the child seats that can be brought onboard, please refer to "Child Seats".
  • ・Since the number of infants allowed on board is limited, please let us know when reserving and purchasing your flight tickets.
  • ・Children under the age of 3 who do not occupy their own seats need infant boarding passes. Please go through procedures via online check-in*2, at Self Service Check-in machine, or the airport counter.
    • *2 If you issue a boarding pass for infants when checking in online, you need to register the names of the infants at the time of reservation.

Seat reservation

  • ・For safety reasons, the above listed infants and accompanying passengers are not allowed to sit in an exit row seat.
  • ・A passenger traveling with an infant who does not occupy his/her own seat may not be seated in the same seat row as another passenger traveling with an infant due to limited oxygen mask availability (4 pieces for 3 seats) in the seat row. If multiple passengers traveling with infants board a flight, they are requested to select seats in separate rows (in front/back of each other) or next to each other across the aisle. Please hold your infant in the seat you have reserved.

Stroller Rental Service

Strollers that can be used up to the boarding gate are available for passengers with babies.
If you wish to rent a stroller, feel free to tell 1 of our airport counter staff on the day of your flight.
Since you are not allowed to bring your own stroller on board the aircraft in principle, please check it in as checked baggage.
If you wish to borrow a stroller after arrival, please let us know at the time of procedures.

Carrying Stroller on Board

  • ・You can carry a stroller on board only if the size of the stroller when folded is smaller than the specified size of carry-on baggage.
    For the specified size, refer to "Carry-on Baggage".
  • ・Only 1 piece of carry-on baggage can be carried on per person. If you bring a stroller, you will not be allowed to carry on any baggage in addition to your personal belongings (handbag, camera, umbrella, etc.).
  • ・Fold the stroller before passing through the ticket gate and store it in its dedicated case if necessary.
    If you do not have a case, we will provide you with a plastic baggage bag at your request.

Retrieval of Checked Stroller

Strollers checked in at the time of departure will be returned preferentially.
* Please note that bags and other baggage checked together with the stroller will be returned in the same way as other checked baggage.

Use of Child SeatOPEN

  • ・Please bring your own child seat, which must be approved by MLIT in Japan, FMVSS in the US, or UNECE in Europe, or a CARES harness.
  • ・If you use a child seat, you will need to reserve a seat and pay a child fare.
  • ・If you use a child seat, please reserve a window seat whenever possible.
  • ・Please note that we may ask you to change your seat if you have selected a seat other than recommended above.

It may also be written together as "UN (ECE)".

4.CARES
"CARES" Seats
  • ・Only "CARES" seats are allowed to be used as harness type child seats. You cannot use other harness type child seats.
  • ・CARES is a child seat for aviation use designed for children age 1 and older who weigh between 22 and 44 pounds (about 10-20 kg).
  • * For more details, please refer to the manufacturer's standards for use.
  • * Even if the seat meets the standards, we may refuse to allow you to use it or may ask you to move to another seat, depending on the actual installation situation.

Unacceptable Child SeatsOPEN

If the seat cannot be secured with a 2-point seat belt, it cannot be used onboard even if approved to the above standards.
Child seats other than those specified above will be accepted as checked baggage.
